Bowen Trailwork day

SDMB in teaming up with Pima County to have one last Trailwork day before the season ends on Bowen trailhead. This trail gets a lot of foot traffic but could use some love from the community. A little clean up and those site lines will wiiiide open. We will be focusing on Brushing, and some light tread work. If you do not know what any of that means, no problem, we can teach you how it all works at the event! If you are a seasoned trail worker, then we would love to have your experience and knowledge. This is a great time to meet new and old friends, and give back to your local community trails. Tools will be provided by the Pima County team. Details about event below.

Where to meet

We ask that you park on the west side of the road, north of the trailhead sign.

What to bring:

--Two liters of water

--Trail Snacks

--Sun protection

--Closed toed shoes

--Work gloves – they will have some to lend out

--Eye protection – they will have some to lend out
