Interested in helping to care for Pima County hiking and biking trails?
Pima County Conservation Lands & Resources stewards a network of 172 miles of trails throughout our beautiful county, and we need your help to keep these spaces healthy, clean and accessible.
To become a Trail Steward, you must attend one of the following training sessions.
Join us for one of our next Volunteer Trail Steward Trainings
- Saturday, January 10th at Sarasota Trailhead (2737 S Sarasota Blvd. Tucson, AZ, 85713) - 8am -12pm
To RSVP to either training, please email Patrick.Goodnight@pima.gov.
What to expect?
Trail steward training events equip stewards with the skills and tools to assess and maintain their trail segments independently. At least one trail steward training is required for new and aspiring trail stewards. Returning trail stewards are also encouraged to attend a training. The content for these dates is the same, just different locations.
